Key Benefits

  • Extra long 2.5m customisable slim linear LED light, supplied as two 1250mm sections that join on site to form one continuous run.

  • 30-day Return Policy

Part of the Flow linear lighting system, this extra long slim linear light gives you a 2.5m continuous run of soft, even light from a 35mm x 35mm profile.

Supplied as two 1250mm sections with a connection pack included. The sections join on site to form one continuous line, with a continuous diffuser across the join and a single driver for the full length, so you wire one power feed exactly as you would with a shorter fitting.

Supplied with the driver and ready to install suspended on 2m wires. Choose daylight 4000K for offices, workplaces and libraries, or warm white 3000K for hotels, hospitality, retail and restaurants. At 2.5m it suits open plan office runs, long reception desks, corridors and bar fronts where a shorter fitting would look under-scaled.

Product FAQs

What height should the light be suspended at?

The fitting is supplied with 2m suspension wires, which can be shortened on site to set your drop height. The right height depends on what sits beneath it.

Over a table, bar counter or reception desk, aim for roughly 700mm to 900mm above the work surface. That keeps the light close enough to define the zone and give a strong visual line without the fitting sitting in eye line for anyone seated. Over circulation routes, walkways and any area people move through, keep the underside of the fitting at least 2.1m above finished floor level so there is no head height issue. Ceiling height matters too. In a space with a high ceiling, a longer drop stops the light looking lost against the soffit, while in a standard 2.7m office ceiling a short drop of 200mm to 400mm usually works best. If you are unsure, our lighting designers will advise on drop height alongside the lux calculation.

What is the colour rendering, and why does it matter for retail and hospitality?

The fitting has a colour rendering index above 90Ra, using Bridgelux 2835 LEDs with a colour consistency tolerance of 3 SDCM or better.

CRI describes how accurately a light source shows colour compared with natural daylight. Above 90Ra means fabrics, finishes, food and skin tones all appear as they should, rather than washed out or shifted. In retail this affects whether merchandise looks like the product a customer expects when they get it home. In restaurants and bars it affects how food and drink appear on the table. In hotels and workplaces it affects how the interior finishes you have specified actually read in the space. Many lower cost fittings sit at 80Ra, which is acceptable for a warehouse or a plant room but noticeable in a customer facing interior. The 3 SDCM tolerance matters just as much on a run this long, because it means every fitting across a project matches, with no visible variation in tint from one to the next.

How is it wired, and where does the driver go?

The light runs from a single remote driver supplied with the fitting, so your electrician wires one power feed for the full 2.5m rather than two. The driver sits away from the light itself, normally in the ceiling void or another concealed position nearby, with a low voltage connection through to the fitting.

Two things to plan for at first fix. The driver position needs to stay accessible for maintenance, so avoid burying it above a sealed plasterboard ceiling with no hatch. And the driver should sit reasonably close to the fitting rather than at the far end of a long void, so confirm the position with us if your only practical location is some distance away. The fitting is Protection Class II, meaning it is double insulated and does not require a protective earth connection, and it accepts a supply voltage between 100 and 277V AC at 50 or 60Hz. For a competent electrician this is a straightforward installation, and the single driver keeps the wiring simpler than a two-part fitting would normally suggest.
