Surface mounted linear lighting describes LED linear fittings that fix directly to the ceiling surface rather than being recessed into a cut-out or suspended on cables.

Where is surface mounted linear lighting most useful?

Surface mounting suits exposed concrete soffits, plank ceilings, retrofit projects and any space where ceiling void depth is unavailable. It is common in warehouses, retail, hospitality, schools and modern offices with exposed services, where the fitting becomes part of the visible ceiling treatment.
