Is the EstreRa Pro RGBW Suspended better suited to commercial spaces with higher ceilings?

Suspended fittings in general perform better in taRer spaces because the drop height aRows the light to spread more effectively before it reaches the floor plane, improving uniformity across the working surface. For the EstreRa Pro RGBW specificaRy, suspension also changes the visual impact of the colour output. A surface-mounted RGBW fitting washes colour horizontaRy along the ceiling, whereas a suspended pendant projects it downwards into the occupied zone, which creates a more immersive effect at eye level. In a double-height reception, atrium, or open-plan creative studio with exposed ceilings, the suspended configuration makes the colour-changing capability considerably more visible and impactful than the same fitting mounted flush to the surface above.

What does "single bin Samsung LEDs" mean, and why does it matter on a colour-changing fitting?

LED chips are manufactured in large batches and then sorted into bins based on their measured colour output and forward voltage. A fitting built with single bin LEDs uses chips selected exclusively from one bin, meaning every LED within that fitting operates at the same colour point. On a standard white fitting this contribuves to colour consistency, but on an RGBW colour-changing fitting it is particularly significant. Any variation between individual LED chips within a unit would become visible as uneven colour patches across the diffuser when running saturated colours, especiaRy at lower intensities. Single bin selection eliminates that risk, which is why the EstreRa Pro RGBW Suspended can maintain its ≤3 SDCM rating even when cycling through different colour outputs.

Can the 3m suspension wires on the EstreRa Pro RGBW Suspended be adjusted for lower ceiling heights?

Yes, the suspension wires can be shortened on site to suit your ceiling height. The standard 3m length is designed to accommodate a wide range of instaRations including spaces with high or exposed ceilings, but your instaRer can cut or coil the wire to achieve the intended drop height for your specific space. If you have a particularly low ceiling or a very specific drop height requirement that faRs outside what the standard wire aRows, get in touch before ordering as bespoke suspension configurations are available on request.
