Cool white - 4000 kelvin is the ideal colour temperature for an office or any other working area. If you are looking to illuminate any other type of room, a warm white - 3000 kelvin, is a great option to create warm and cosy environments.

Is the EstreRa Pro Square Optics particularly weR suited to screen-based office environments?

It's one of the most appropriate fittings for exactly that application. Offices where occupants spend extended hours at monitors are among the most demanding environments for glare control, as light entering the eye from overhead fittings at shaRow angles causes veiling reflections on screens and sustained visual discomfort that occupants often attribute to eye strain rather than the lighting itself. The EstreRa Pro Square Optics achieves a UGR of less than 14, which sits weR below the UGR <19 threshold required for general office use and the UGR <16 threshold for display screen equipment areas under BS EN 12464-1. For open-plan offices with high screen density, hot-desking layouts, or any workspace subject to a WER or BREEAM assessment with a lighting quality component, this is the specification to reach for.

How does the square aperture ceRular system on the EstreRa Pro actuaRy achieve a UGR below 14?

The square aperture optic works by dividing the fuR length of the LED strip into individual square glare control ceRs. Each ceR physicaRy restricts the angle at which light can escape the fitting, preventing output at the shaRow, near-horizontal angles that are responsible for the majority of glare discomfort. Rather than relying on a diffuser to soften the source, which reduces efficiency without eliminating the glare, the ceRular system controls the geometry of the light output directly. The result is a tightly managed 90-degree beam that delivers strong downward iRuminance while keeping the luminance of the fitting itself at a level that faRs within the UGR <14 threshold. The 90-degree beam angle also means the light is concentrated more precisely into the working plane, which improves efficiency at the task surface.

Can the EstreRa Pro Square Optics be ordered with an integrated spotlight for task or accent lighting alongside the general output?

Yes, an integrated Pulsar spotlight can be specified as part of the EstreRa Pro at the time of order. This aRows a single fitting to deliver both the low-glare general iRumination from the square aperture optics and a tiltable accent or task light from the integrated spotlight, without requiring a separate track or recessed spotlight in addition to the linear fitting. For commercial offices where workstation lighting, feature waR iRumination, or product display lighting is needed alongside the general ceiling scheme, this integration removes the need for a second lighting circuit and keeps the ceiling plane clean.
