Next day delivery for orders placed before 2pm. If you’re unhappy with your purchase, you can cancel or return your order (or part of it) by contacting us at hello@linearlights.co.uk. Cancellation before goods are received may incur handling fees based on the time elapsed, while returns after receiving goods must be reported within 7 days and returned within 30 days. Refunds or exchanges will be processed within 7 working days of receiving the items back, provided they are returned in new, undamaged condition, with original packaging. Faulty, damaged, or incorrect items will be replaced or refunded, and return costs up to £15 will be covered. Is the Skyline 1.2m particularly well suited to conference rooms and enclosed meeting rooms?

In an enclosed meeting room or smaller conference space where the ceiling is a standard suspended grid rather than an open soffit, this dimensional alignment simplifies the installation considerably and produces a cleaner finished result. At 27W delivering 3,402 lumens or 40W delivering 5,040 lumens with a 120-degree beam angle, the Skyline 1.2m delivers sufficient output for a meeting room environment with room to step up the wattage if the ceiling height or room dimensions demand more.

Does the Skyline 1.2m come with all the hardware needed for both surface mounting and suspension?

Yes. Both the surface mounting kit and the suspension wires are included in the box, meaning the installer can decide on the mounting method on site without needing to order additional accessories. This is useful on projects where the final ceiling configuration may not be confirmed until the installation stage, or where multiple rooms with different ceiling types are being fitted with the same product. It also means there is no risk of a delayed installation because a suspension kit was not included with the order. Everything needed for either configuration ships with the fitting as standard.

The Skyline 1.2m has a non-dimmable integral driver. What types of commercial spaces does that suit?

A non-dimmable driver delivers a fixed, consistent light output that does not vary during operation. For spaces where the lighting requirement is straightforward and constant throughout the day, such as corridors, stairwells, back-of-house areas, utility rooms, or any space where the lighting is either on or off rather than adjusted to different levels, a non-dimmable fitting is the most reliable and cost-effective specification. It removes the risk of flicker associated with poorly specified dimming circuits and eliminates the cost of DALI or mains dimming hardware that would not be used. For spaces where dimming is a genuine requirement, the Skyline's wattage switch allows some output adjustment at the point of installation, though this is a fixed setting rather than an operational control.
