A suspended or surface mounted rectangular LED linear light with various sizes. This is part of our Estrella Pro linear lighting system, crafted exclusively in the UK. Estrella Pro rectangular lights can combine sides of 850mm, 1382mm, 1914mm, 2128mm with larger sizes being also available. This version features a crisp daylight effect (4000K), perfect for office and workplace applications. Powered by Samsung LED Chips with an excellent CRI>90Ra, Estrella Pro ensures perfect illumination. Each light includes an integral driver and supports additional features like dimming and emergency options. Delivery and Returns
Delivery in 2-3 weeks. Please get in touch for details. If you’re unhappy with your purchase, you can cancel or return your order (or part of it) by contacting us at hello@linearlights.co.uk. Cancellation before goods are received may incur handling fees based on the time elapsed, while returns after receiving goods must be reported within 7 days and returned within 30 days. Refunds or exchanges will be processed within 7 working days of receiving the items back, provided they are returned in new, undamaged condition, with original packaging. Faulty, damaged, or incorrect items will be replaced or refunded, and return costs up to £15 will be covered. Is the Estrella Pro Rectangular 4000K well suited to large open-plan commercial offices?

It's a strong specification for that environment. A large rectangular fitting suspended over an open-plan floor plate does something that a grid of smaller fittings cannot: it creates a visual anchor that organises the space beneath it, which is particularly valuable in offices where the design intent is to define collaboration zones, cluster seating areas, or meeting spaces without using physical partitions. At sizes up to 1914mm x 2446mm, a single Estrella Pro Rectangular can cover a meaningful area of an open-plan floor while delivering a clean, continuous light source with no visible breaks. The 4000K daylight output aligns with CIBSE guidance for general office illuminance and supports the visual clarity and alertness that sustained screen-based work requires throughout the working day.

With six standard size configurations available, how do you choose the right one for a specific space?

The six configurations combine sides of 850mm, 1382mm, 1914mm, and 2446mm, giving a range from a relatively compact 850mm x 1382mm up to a large 1914mm x 2446mm. A useful starting point is to work from the primary dimension of the space or the furniture it will be positioned over. Above a conference table, proportioning the short side of the rectangle to roughly two thirds of the table width and the long side to around three quarters of the table length tends to produce a visually balanced result. For an open-plan zone, ceiling height matters: the higher the ceiling, the larger the fitting can be before it reads as disproportionate. If none of the standard configurations match your requirements precisely, bespoke dimensions are available on enquiry.

Does the Estrella Pro Rectangular 4000K support dimming and emergency options, and do these need to be specified upfront?

Yes to both, and yes they need to be confirmed before ordering. The standard fitting ships with an integral non-dimming driver. If DALI or mains dimming is required, or if the fitting needs to double as an emergency luminaire, these need to be specified at the time of order as they require a different driver configuration that cannot be retrofitted after manufacture. For commercial projects where Part L compliance, a building management system integration, or emergency lighting coverage are part of the brief, it is worth confirming the required specification with your electrical contractor before placing the order to avoid any delay to the programme.
