Part of the creative Flow linear lighting system, this LED customisable slim linear light can be cut to bespoke sizes, up to 2500mm length and also connected to create longer lengths. Suitable for use in different environments, these lights are great as single luminaires or in combination with other members of the Flow family, for general and feature lighting. Flow can be suspended or surface mounted on the ceiling ane even side mounted on walls for feature lighting. This light features a cosy warm white (3000K),perfect for applications such as residential and hotel interiors , hospitality, retail, wellness facilities, restaurants and bars. It is supplied ready with drivers and all the necessary mounting kits. We can adjust the length and craft your bespoke option to meet your requirements. Delivery in 3 weeks, please get in touch for details. If you’re unhappy with your purchase, you can cancel or return your order (or part of it) by contacting us at hello@linearlights.co.uk. Cancellation before goods are received may incur handling fees based on the time elapsed, while returns after receiving goods must be reported within 7 days and returned within 30 days. Refunds or exchanges will be processed within 7 working days of receiving the items back, provided they are returned in new, undamaged condition, with original packaging. Faulty, damaged, or incorrect items will be replaced or refunded, and return costs up to £15 will be covered. Can the Flow Slim be used for wall-mounted feature lighting in a commercial interior?

Yes, and it's one of the more versatile applications for this fitting. While most linear lights are specified purely for ceiling installation, the Flow Slim can be side mounted on walls, which opens up a different set of commercial applications. Feature walls in reception areas, illuminated niches, corridor lighting running horizontally along a wall at a consistent height, or framing architectural elements such as recessed panels or joinery all benefit from a slim, continuous wall-mounted light source. At 35mm square in profile and 960 lumens per metre, the Flow Slim delivers enough output to function as genuine ambient or accent lighting on a vertical surface rather than purely decorative effect. The 3000K warm white output is particularly well suited to this application, creating a softer, more inviting atmosphere in commercial spaces where the wall plane is part of the design.

Can the Flow Slim be cut to an exact custom length rather than just choosing from the standard sizes?

Yes. While the Flow Slim is available as standard in 1000mm, 1200mm, 1500mm, and 2500mm lengths, it can be factory-cut to a specific custom dimension up to 2500mm. This matters when you are working to precise architectural measurements, such as fitting within a ceiling coffer, aligning with a structural bay, or matching the length of a specific piece of furniture or joinery. Ordering a standard size and trimming on site is not an option with a fitting of this construction, so having the cut made at the factory ensures a clean, finished result with no compromise to the diffuser seal or the output quality along the full length of the fitting. Get in touch before ordering to confirm your required dimension.

Can multiple Flow Slim units be connected end-to-end to create a continuous run longer than 2500mm?

Yes. While the maximum single-piece length is 2500mm, multiple units can be connected to create longer continuous runs without visible joints between sections. This makes the Flow Slim practical for installations such as long corridor ceiling runs, extended wall features, or open-plan office perimeter lighting where a single 2500mm piece would fall short. If you have a specific total length in mind, getting in touch before ordering is the best approach so the team can advise on the optimal module configuration and confirm the driver specification for the total load.
