The Titan is designed for areas of a commercial building that fall outside the standard dry office environment. Commercial kitchens, server rooms, plant rooms, loading bays, covered car parks, cleaners' cupboards, sports and gym facilities, and welfare areas such as shower rooms or changing rooms all present conditions that would degrade a standard IP20 fitting over time. The Titan's IP65 rating and full polycarbonate construction mean it is sealed against dust ingress and water jets from any direction, and its body will not corrode in the presence of moisture, cleaning chemicals, or condensation. For a commercial fit-out where a single procurement covers both the main office floor and the back-of-house or welfare areas, the Titan handles everything a standard batten cannot.

Each length of the Titan ships with multiple wattage settings that can be selected at the time of installation. On the 4ft version for example, the driver can be set to 24W, 30W, 37W, or 40W, directly affecting the lumen output delivered into the space. This means a single SKU can be correctly configured for different ceiling heights, room sizes, or illuminance targets without ordering a separate product. In practice it removes the risk of over-ordering a wattage that then turns out to be wrong for the space, and it gives the installer the flexibility to fine-tune the output on site rather than working around a fixed specification. For a contractor managing multiple areas with different lighting requirements across one project, that flexibility has a real time and cost benefit.

IK ratings measure a fitting's resistance to mechanical impact, expressed as the amount of energy in joules the fitting can withstand without damage. IK08 equates to 5 joules of impact resistance, which in practical terms means the Titan can withstand a significant physical knock without cracking or exposing its internal components. This is a step up from the IK04 rating found on standard commercial battens, and it matters in the environments the Titan is designed for. In a loading bay, commercial kitchen, or plant room, fittings are far more likely to be struck by equipment, cleaning tools, or falling objects than they are in a managed office environment. The higher IK rating directly reduces the risk of damage-related failure, which in turn protects the 50,000-hour rated lifespan and the 5-year warranty.
