Delivery and Returns
Delivery in 3-4 working days dependant on stock, please get in touch for details. If you’re unhappy with your purchase, you can cancel or return your order (or part of it) by contacting us at hello@linearlights.co.uk. Cancellation before goods are received may incur handling fees based on the time elapsed, while returns after receiving goods must be reported within 7 days and returned within 30 days. Refunds or exchanges will be processed within 7 working days of receiving the items back, provided they are returned in new, undamaged condition, with original packaging. Faulty, damaged, or incorrect items will be replaced or refunded, and return costs up to £15 will be covered. Note that bespoke items may incur additional fees of 15% to 50% for cancellations or returns.

Is the Astrowave Design Pack 3 suited to a commercial reception or office atrium?

It's one of the stronger choices for those specific environments. Reception areas and atriums are where clients and visitors form their first impression of a business, and a standard batten or recessed fitting doesn't do much to influence that. The Astrowave Design Pack 3 gives you three 5m runs of sculptural rope light that can be configured into curves, waves, or geometric ceiling installations, making the ceiling plane itself part of the interior design rather than just a surface to mount lights onto. In a double-height atrium or a generous reception void, three suspended runs create a layered, architectural effect that reads as a considered design decision rather than a lighting specification. The 3000K option is particularly effective in these settings for creating a warmer, more welcoming first impression.

What does 360-degree illumination actually mean, and why does it matter?

Most linear fittings direct light in a single plane, typically downwards or with a defined beam angle. The Astrowave emits light through the full 360 degrees of its silicone tube, meaning it glows as a complete luminous object rather than a light source with a visible face. When suspended, this creates an even halo effect around the entire rope, which looks completely different from a standard pendant linear at the same distance. There are no bright spots, no visible LED clusters, and no directional bias. For decorative and feature installations where the fitting itself is part of the visual, that quality of output is the whole point. It also means the light reads well from multiple sightlines and angles, which matters in open, double-height commercial spaces.

Can the Astrowave Design Pack 3 be controlled via a wireless system like CASAMBI?

Yes, CASAMBI is one of the dimming options available on the Astrowave. CASAMBI is a Bluetooth-based wireless lighting control platform that allows individual fittings or groups of fittings to be dimmed and scheduled via a smartphone app or integrated into a wider building control system, without the need for additional control wiring. For a commercial installation where scene-setting or out-of-hours dimming would be useful, it removes the need to run dedicated DALI or 0-10V control cables back to the driver. It needs to be specified at the time of order, so get in touch to confirm the requirement before purchasing.
