Returns and Refunds Policy

If for any reason you are not happy with your purchase and want to cancel or return your full order or part of it, you can do so, as long as you fill in the returns form and notify at your earliest convenience at hello@linearlights.co.uk. You can download the form using the button below.

1) Cancellation of orders before receiving the goods

If you change your mind or your lighting specifications change before receiving your order, we appreciate your notification as soon as possible. As most of our products are bespoke made, handling fees might apply if you wish to cancel an order.

Please see the handling fees that apply for cancellations on bespoke items:

  • 0 to 2 business days after order is placed: no handling fee – full refund sent to client
  • 3 to 7 business days after order is placed: 15% handling fee applies – 85% refund sent to client
  • 8 to 15 business days after order is placed: 30% handling fee applies – 70% refund sent to client

2) Cancellation of orders after receiving the goods

Please fill in the returns form and send it as soon as possible to hello@linearlights.co.uk.

Any problems with faulty or unwanted items should be reported within 7 days of delivery of your order. We will not accept liability for any returned items that are lost or damaged in transit from you to us. Damaged, missing or incomplete items will result in your return being rejected. Please obtain proof of postage. You’ll have to cover the cost of returning the goods back to us.

All returns must arrive back to us within 30 days of the delivery date to you, any returns received after 30 days will be returned to you.

Refunds or exchanges may take up to 7 working days for us to action – this is 7 working days from the date we receive the goods back into our warehouse.

3) Faulty/damaged/wrong items

We may ask for photographs of a damaged product and the packaging. If we do ask for an item to be sent back to us, we will cover the cost of the return. Items should be received in a reasonable condition, with all component parts. You should also include your invoice and returns form.

If incorrect or faulty goods are supplied, we will replace or fully refund these, as appropriate, as quickly as possible. Please note that free carrier collection is available only to the following occasions: wrong items, damaged or faulty items.

4) Unwanted items

In case you changed your mind, or simply do not want the products anymore you will need to return the products and pay for the shipping cost, within the 30-day period. We can only accept returns of items which still appear new, unmarked and undamaged, this also applies to the product’s packaging so please unpack your order carefully.

As most of our products are bespoke made, handling fees might apply if you wish to return an item. Handling fees in this case are from 15% to 50%. Please fill in the form and we will get back to you.
